Had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Paz resort. The hotel is in the hills of the Itaipava area of Petropolis and while close to the center also feels like a nice retreat. This is being great. The property is beautiful, clean, and very upling. Staff has been wonderful and some speak English. This is a property in the country side of Rio and gives you a feeling of being out of the craziness of Rio. It's great for families and coupleas alike.if you come to Rio, and is looking for a place to rest while having fun, this is the place to be. If you are from Brazil, this is the place to be. I totally recommend.
