Some areas for improvement - no proper hot water for bathrooms and all their restaurants need to pick up food standards -big menu but none done well. "We had a wonderful stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The hotel is beautifully designed, aesthetic, and meticulously maintained. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and always happy to help with a smile at any time. The facilities are top-notch: the fitness center is hands down one of the best you'll find in a hotel, and the spa and treatment area is of a very high standard. A couple of things to keep in mind: Spa amenities: The wet/dry sauna is only open for about three hours a day (split into single-hour slots) and comes with an extra fee, which was a bit disappointing. Location: The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from central Ao Nang. This means you will likely find yourself commuting there once or twice a day if you're looking for attractions or taking boat trips to the islands (like Railay or Phi Phi), which are a must-do."
