Beautiful old mansion turned into a hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely Lithuanian lady managing the place was very nice and helpful and served a terrific breakfast. A pleasant night halt on our trip.
We were so impressed with this hotel. Not only is it absolutely beautiful on the inside, with all its high end finishes, but the staff was incredible. My husband asked the front desk if they had an extra adapter, and they said they would look and let us know. 20 minutes later, a staff member came to our door with one in new packaging saying they couldn’t find one, but a staff member ran out to the store to buy one so that my husband didn’t have to venture out. Really above and beyond.
The room was spacious and the amenities lovely. I urge you to experience the spa. I only had time for a massage, but the combination specials they offer seem to be a great value. This was probably one of my favorite hotels in Ireland. I loved the easy parking for our cars, the rooms, amenities, and the bar. The staff there are all top notch, the hotel itself is lovely, and the location is wonderful. It seemed very quiet there. The only issue is coffee. If in-room coffee suits you, then no issues for you. But if you want good coffee at the hotel it's $20 room service, or the $60/pp breakfast. We stayed two nights at the Radisson Blu in Cork. It was a nice, clean hotel. Our family of four stayed in a family room which was two rooms connected. One room had a queen or king size bed. One room had 2 single beds. It was very nice having 2 bathrooms to shower and dress in the mornings. Staff was friendly. Pool/spa area was lovely. Food in the bar was very good.
The location of the hotel was excellent. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere in the day that we had to explore the city. We stayed 2 glorious nights. We had an executive king room that was enourmous. We felt like we were in the penthouse suite. Outstanding location, 2 blocks from the town square. Free parking under the hotel. Cobh was one of my favorite stops on our 10 stop, 3-week trip around the emerald isle.
