"We had an amazing time at The Vagabond Club. We booked a 3 night stay as part of a longer tour. The room was comfortable if not a little dated but the service, food and proximity to local attractions such as Little India, Arab Street, and very nearby access to MRT made this an ideal location. Special mention to Kavita who looked after us so well during our stay. We will be back when next in Singapore!"

"Rooms are clean and tidy, no draws though. Staff are very warm and friendly. Laundry area is great and free towels to use for swimming. The shops nearby are and Indian shops and sovereign shops."

"Short stay, clean spacious room, clean spacious lobby that smells fresh, friendly staff. 10-15 minute walks to lots of restaurants, metro and shopping mall. Had 2 minor issues with my room that staff helped figure out immediately, shoutout to Avni who also was kind enough to give us an upgrade. "

"Nice hotel in a quiet area, supermarket opposite and a few eateries nearby. My friend and I shared a twin room, which was a little cramped but clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time out so it wasn't a problem. The hotel is probably 5 minute walk to the Lavender metro station which is cheap and easy to negotiate. Would definately recommend."

"Great position by the mrt line to the airport and certainly an extremely lively area full of shops and restaurants. Big rooms at the hotel with all the amenities but the hotel itself certainly shows its age. Nevertheless a good choice for Singapore. I recommend."

"It was such a great place to stay! Very convenient and easy to access public transportation. It is only 10 minutes walking distance to bugis. Also next to the famous Arabic district and Sultan mosque! Hotel is very clean compare to one we stayed before. Staffs are nice and price is reasonable for Singapore "

"Room was nice & clean. Bathroom was also clean. There's an Indian restaurant downstairs. On our floor was a water station 🚉 which was excellent. Well located & close to major shops & districts. Taxis run past the hotel. 2 min walk to Mustafa Centre which is open 24hrs. So many shops across the roads and around the hotels."

"Very close to little India with easy connection to the MRT downtown line to changi airport. (Takes about an hour) Nice and clean with friendly and helpful staff."

"Pretty basic hotel, would prefer to stay in something better. But for the price (in Singapore) it's ok and ideal if you are just after a bed to sleep in. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Good location for getting around Singapore, situated between Little India and Bugis (both walking distance). 3 MRT stations in close proximity, so plenty of options for travelling to other parts of Singapore. This was my second stay at Hotel 81 Rochor."
