"We stayed in a Deluxe King room overlooking Darling Harbour. The room was absolutely beautiful, very spacious with separate dressing room and a huge bathroom with a round both. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast choices were also wonderful. Next time I am in Sydney, I will definitely stay here."

"Fabulous location between Central and Museum, and 2 light rail stations nearby. Loads of eating choices nearby. Room was good sized and very comfortable. Kitchen facilities excellent. Free to air TV was tricky to access (via Foxtel... but the upside was that it had Foxtel!) Bathroom facilities were a bit tired, but perfectly functional. Bed super comfy. Good wi-fi. Recommended for short or longer stays."

"The room was perfect, tea/coffee making facilities, tv, fridge, microwave and a sink in the bedroom. Was in easy walking distance of most tourist attractions and transport connections. Would highly recommend the Occidental hotel to anyone!!!"

"We’ve stayed here before, as the location is perfect for our purposes. Walk from Museum Station, public transport to/from anywhere, walkable to anywhere in the city. We visit Sydney regularly to attend a Specialist in Macquarie Street which is a short, pleasant walk. Lots of food options close by, or can make use of the kitchenette in room. There is a convenience store downstairs which lives up to its name!"

"Was a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located just a 5 minute walk from central station making it so easy to get everywhere. An easy walk in to the city and so many great eating places nearby. Place was clean, bed was really comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment. Hosts were lovely and very receptive. Will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town. "
