"For cheap budget accomodation, Ibis Fawkner is perfectly fine. Stayed there a few times. Convenient train access to the city. Rooms are clean, although you may notice a loose tap or other minor maintenance issue. The 24 hour KMart nearby is great to have. The only negative is highway facing rooms can be a little noisy at night from hoons doing burnouts on Sunday mornings, but that's hardly Ibis' fault."
