"VERY FAR away from Cartagena town though there are shuttles. I was part of large group so it was fine for me and noticed other large groups too. The cafe and room service was incredible. "
"Nice hotel overall — I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very welcoming and organized, and it was a nice touch that they recognized me upon arrival (I was the last guest to check in, lol).
The hotel has beautiful hallways with stone walls and soft, low lighting that give it a cozy, boutique feel. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and the beds are super comfortable.
There are a few minor maintenance items — for example, some of the bathroom (boudoir) doors would catch on the floor and could use a bit of repair — but nothing that impacted the stay in a major way.
Breakfast was a highlight, with a nice variety of traditional options along with some Colombian flavors, which I really appreciated. The rooftop pool area is also great for relaxing, although parts of the flooring felt slightly uneven and the pool lining could use an update.
Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a fantastic location — very close to everything in Old Town and Getsemaní. I would definitely stay here again"
"The hotel has all the potential to be the best hotel in Cartagena. Great convenient location close to everything, its own beach, great swimming pools. However, it sad to see how poorly maintained the hotel is. It is falling apart. I would guess that the problem is poor management.
- pools were dirty - the walls/ sides of the pools
- room towels and sheets were thin and old
- the walls of the building are falling apart - lack of paint.
- gardens seem poor.
- beach was dirty
- the birds eat from your plates. Very uncomfortable.
Very sad to see this is happening as the food, the people and the service were great.

"Outstanding hotel with amazing staff. We had a corner room with a second bed and bathroom in a mezannie. Very comfortable beds in an outstanding location. Great breakfast. Closed to the bars and restaurants in Getsemani, but far enough to keep the noise away. That said, the hotel seats next to a busy road, and the drivers in Cartagena love to honk their horns, so earplugs are a must for sleeping (I always wear ear plugs when sleeping in hotels anyways). We slept great despite of the traffic. You can walk everywhere in Cartagena from this hotel. The hotel architecture and rooms are perfect, but the pool can use some love. Not a deal braker. I would definitely stay here again because of its location. "
