Beautiful property, free tea tasting, and very wonderful host. Host was a pleasure to talk to and was always available for any assistance we needed. Had great recommendations for food and hikes nearby. He also took the time to show us his family’s tea farm only 2 minutes away. The views were incredible. Alishan Recreational Forest was only 30-40 minutes away.
There is machine laundry, but clothes need to be air dried. However, there are enough lines and fans to allow the clothes to dry...
We got to Chiayi much later than expected and had to take a cab up to the bus station and a B&B staff picked us up from the bus station. Even with a car, this B&B is bit hard to get to because it's higher up in the mountain. However, the scenery was fanstastic since the buildings are right next to tea plantations. There are short trails around the B&B where you can climb for a pretty good view. The room we got was wood and beauitfully decorated. The photos do not do it justice.
The staffs...
Spacious and clean rooms, but no elevator. The only one set of complimentary self-service laundry was very old. The dryer was especially inefficient. Strict visiting rules (one hour limit) for visitors of guests.
Hotel was an easy walk from train station, just down the street. They are within walking distance from different restaurants. Shower was excellent, bed was soft yet firm and pillows were really comfortable too. Breakfast was good. We only stayed one night before our trek to Alishan and it was well worth staying.
Room was amazing. 1 king and 2 queen with a sitting area was perfect for our family. Right near the night market which was so much fun. Would definitely stay there again.
