"Excellent staff, very friendly & helpful. Room is basic but clean in a traditional Moroccan style. 20 mins walk to the beach or Taxi (20 Mad) There is a bar in the hotel you can take away to your room or solarium upstairs. Great little coffee bar across the road & a few restaurants just outside. Would definitely recommend as a base, if out daily exploring."

"As others have said, a peaceful and lovely place, courteous and charming staff and owner -nothing is too much trouble - and excellent food. So convenient coming in from a late flight arrival. We arranged for our hire car (from the super team at Carsalis) to start here the next day, everything coming together to make a soothing and stress-free beginning to a wonderful self-drive holiday. "First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. "The main thing that stood out for me was that every single staff member working in the restaurant were incredibly hardworking, polite & friendly. Especially the cleaners kindly putting up with our baby constantly throwing food on the floor. Restaurant and cleaning staff were also attentive & went above and beyond to provide a good service. "Every member of staff from beginning to end were friendly and kind and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere and super attentive and accommodating. Lots of people visiting to go play golf or surf. Small outdoor children’s pool was lovely and warm, other outdoor pools were much cooler (one adult heated but still fairly cool) but very deep. Bring inflatables if not confident with swimming!
