While Agadir was beautiful, I did not love staying at Allegro. First off, I wasn't able to check in until past check-in time. The room they ultimately gave me was facing a construction zone and a staff member was painting my patio area. I requested a room change and they gave me a new room in the basement that had a funny smell and at one point I saw a cockroach on the floor. I tried to harness this into a late check out since I had an evening flight, but they weren't willing to be flexible or accommodating. The food at the buffet was tolerable, but nothing amazing and not a lot of variety day-to-day. Some glows: the pool/restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location was central. I loved being so close to the beach.

Please be aware of when you book this hotel as staff is very rude. The cleaners are great honestly they do a great job and are helpful. I requested to have a kettle in room this was not done and when I asked for it I got told I need to wait till next day. Bear in mind I have a baby which they did not consider of. Cockroaches outside my hotel room complained and due to very bad strong smell in room I did not feel comfortable as I had 2 babies with me. Each complaint was ignored no help or support provided. Hotel does not follow or read your communication with them . It was my anniversary and I requested for a little surprise for my wife . Which was ignored by hotel and when I went to desk they said I have to pay extra for this service in a very rude and unprofessional manner. There is a strong odour coming into room, I also spotted a few rats on the resort. No toiletries available in toilet at all not even toothbrush. A 35 minute walk to the agadir beachfront . No entertainment for kids unfortunately

I absolutely love this resort hotel. The location is ideal as it is close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel has its own private beach area as well. The hotel grounds and the pool area were immaculate. My room was beautiful, bright, clean, and comfortable. I love the shower head. My view was impeccable. The front desk staff, especially Mustafa, the cleaning staff, the dining staff and the club jumbo guys were all kind, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the omelette station. The lady who made my omelette every day is talented. I truly enjoyed my stay and I’m looking forward to returning to the Allegro Hotel!

A bit of a hidden gem, as I went with reasonably low expectations as the price was excellent. First impressions are a bit deceptive, as parts of the building look dates and a little worse for wear - but don't judge this book by its cover. The room was excellent, the bed very comfy and spacious, the food was a highlight and I also appreciated how the mealtimes were so generous, allowing those with early starts for tours to comfortably enjoy breakfast, or returning late from a half day tour was also still possible to enjoy lunch until 2:30. Excellent staff, lots of variety of dishes with tonnes of vegetarian and gluten-free options. WiFi was stable and strong, and location was lovely. Highly recommended!

I was really disappointed with my stay. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, which made it uncomfortably hot throughout my visit. I reported the issue multiple times to the staff, but unfortunately nothing was done and I didn’t feel supported at all. On top of that, the food quality didn’t meet my expectations either. Overall, the experience fell short, and I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and improves both their service and facilities.

Perfect family friendly location

A lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were so friendly and hard working. A great selection of food. Lots of pool activities, perfect if you have kids, not so great if you want peace and quiet but you can get that on the hotel's enclosed beach area (once you get past the hawkers, who are in their own way, lovely people). The beach has some of the nicest sand I've ever experienced and, even in February, warm water. I was pleasantly surprised by the wider area of Agadir

Comfortable rooms with modern upgrades and pleasant decor. We used our balcony in the evenings to enjoy the late day sun and views of the sea. It was great to be able to walk across the street and use the hotel’s private section on the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and the hotel has a happy, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was good and we particularly enjoyed the Thursday night Moroccan buffet dinner. We would certainly consider staying at the Allegro again.

Nice resort.

Friendly staff. Pretty clean resort. Rooms are comfortable , especially the beds. The breakfast needs to be better. They should have hash browns and standard baked beans. They should also have a better coffee machine as the coffee machine in the restaurant is really bad. Aside from that, it’s a good resort and I really enjoyed my stay. The entertainment group were great and very friendly too. The cleaning lady was also very friendly as were the reception staff. Please just sort out the breakfast. Lunch and dinner were really good.

Overall great but not for a peaceful break!

The hotel was of a good overall standard and in an ideal location. Beds and bedding good quality. My only criticism was that the pool area, over which most of the rooms look, is very noisy, with both loud music and even louder, amplified entertainment staff. Fortunately there was a nice private area on the beach across the road to escape to, but forget going back to your room for a quiet siesta. Food okay but never hot enough. We were on B&B which was ideal as there is a good choice of restaurants close by.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere from arrival. Easy check in, all staff super friendly from start to finish. Had booked half board which was great for our needs. Food good quality and plenty of choice. Room was comfortable, although it felt a little tired in places. Worth bearing in mind that this hotel caters for a wide range of guest and the bravo club activities and ‘buzz’ around the pool every day may not be everyone’s cup of tea. As it was our first time in Agadir we didn't know what to expect.We had booked bed and breakfast so we could get out and about through the day and at night. The hotel chain.Barcelo,was familiar enough to us and seemed reasonably priced. We were greeted by a lovely lot of smiling welcoming faces at reception and the concierge service. unfortunately our room was not ready until near 4 pm so it was a bit if a wait. The room we had was ok. Comfy beds, Air Con not a thing when we were there not sure if it gets ramped up in hot weather? we were surprised to have been given all inclusive wrist bands.It was not mentioned it was an upgrade .We perhaps thought it an oversight? We did enjoy that part of things but generally we thought the food a bit same old same old? Not all food was hot at a buffet style restaurant area... we'd say the lunch seemed a little nicer than evening.Mist of the time was spent looking for cutlery and napkins! We had lunch out and had 4 evening meals outwith the hotel. it's not really an area with British pubs and restaurants so you still have to look about for the type of food you enjoy. Although looked like a few bars selling alcohol were close to the hotel all the music was more Arabic/Moroccan so it didn't really entice us to go in which was a bit disappointing ?Agadir isn't quite catering for Brits abroad just yet.The hotel entertainment was not something we tended to hang about for at night.Overall great to experience Agadir.

The restaurant is buffet-style for all meals and the food is excellent. Plenty of choice and all well-cooked, especially, of course, the Moroccan tagines. The food is not spicy, and there's plenty of other options for those less adventurous e.g. pizza, salad bar etc. The property is very clean and the garderners work hard to create lush gardens around the hotel grounds. The staff are helpful and speak multiple languages (inc. English), and a porter can help with your luggage if you wish. On the downside, the hotel is very noisy - can hear the entertainment from the rooms and also can hear other guests, so if you want an early night bring ear plugs! I found the bed uncomfortable as the matteress was very hard. The rooms are showing signs of wear and damage to the decor and the public toilets in reception and by the pool are in a poor condition.
