"The stay at Hotel Barceló was very satisfactory. It was very clean, and the attention and service were excellent. The food was very tasty, and the pool water was great. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel."
"It was a very pleasant stay! We enjoyed the hotel location and the 2 restaurants the hotel provided. The Starbucks downstairs was really convenient as well. We really recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city. 👍"
"This hotel had really great accommodations as well as detailed service, that made our trip so much special! The view from our room was spectacular as well. They even surprised my grilfriend on her birthday with decorations, donuts, and flowers!! 10/10 highly recommend visiting if you are staying in mexico city. One of the staff evelyn was really great in giving recommendations for things to do as well. Lastly it is in the middle of everything, shopping, food, bars, clubs!! so super walkable!"
"We love this hotel. we have stayed here 3 times on vacations to Mexico City. It is the most beautiful hotel in Mexico City with a tiffany-stained glass ceiling over the entire lobby and Effiel wrought iron elevators and his works all over the lobby. The staff is unbeatable, it has 24-hour security at the door, a view of the Zocalo from the restaurant. the rooms are elegant, and well appointed. the location on the Zocalo is unbeatable to access everything in the centro historico area."
"The hotel was very well located in the neighbourhood of Reforma. Spacious, clean room with two double beds, good AC, and friendly, helpful staff. We were there for our honeymoon, and they kindly organised a bottle of wine and dessert - a sweet gesture that we really appreciated! The rooftop pool was lovely and clean, and we had a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable stay. There were lots of restaurants, shops, and taquerias within a 5-10 min walk, and the hotel was also ideally placed for...
"It’s a very good area, near the Angel. I felt very safe walking at night. There’s always someone selling tacos in the corner. The staff were very attentive especially the cleaning staff. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Mexico City."
"My family loved Sheraton Maria Isabel Reforma! From the moment we checked in the front desk was so sweet and helpful. Susie, the lady that cleaned our room was sweet and such a hard worker. We loved coming back exhausted from exploring to a clean room. We had a view of the "Angel de Independencia" and it was such a treat to see her every day. This Sheraton is very close to everything Chapultepec has to offer as well as "El museo de antropologia." It was a 5 min Uber ride or a 20 min walk. We...

I don't usually leave reviews, but this hotel is fantastic! The beds are super comfy and include four pillows each. Our room also had two king beds, which is unusual and very nice for families. The shower was amazing - hot water with lots of pressure. It was better than our shower at home! The rate was super cheap by US standards and included an amazing breakfast buffet...not just the typical "continental breakfast", but tons of options from traditional Mexican food to waffles, bacon,...
Very helpful staff. Quiet room. Large buffet breakfast. Plenty of bottled water. Newly remodeled hotel. No wait for elevators.
We would recommend it. Good rate.
There were many Wifi hotspots. Unfortunately we had a difficult time staying connected. Strength of signal varied a lot.
the hotel is located next to the subway entrance, which you can get around the city easy. if you prefer the metrobus it is located right out the front door. if you prefer a taxi, they are easy to catch and well affordable. I enjoyed tours to different states and in the city where the tour company picks you up at the hotel front door.
the buffet breakfast is outstanding. the wait staff were very friendly
There’s not enough words to describe how incredible the staff at the hotel made us feel. Although we traveled for different reasons, our wedding anniversary fell within the days we stayed at the hotel. We mentioned it during our check in and what happened next, left us speechless (and a little teary-eyed). They took it upon themselves to give us a couple of back-to-back surprises, not to mention that the overall treatment they afforded us was way above average — it was amazingly warm and...
The Zocalo Central was amazing. Free abundant breakfast at the charming rooftop restaurant plus hearty snacks and beer 24/7. The room was quiet and beautiful. The location perfect for seeing the historic center and all kinds of shopping. We found some of the front desk staff to be somewhat disdainful. We were not asked to open a spending account upon check in when we paid for the entire trip which resulted in our laundry being held hostage at 10 PM because we didn’t have “credit”. The lady...
We enjoyed our stay from the time we arrived until the time we left! The entire hotel is sparkling clean! The staff was friendly and helpful with all our request and needs. Breakfast and fresh juice in the morning was a plus! My only con would be location for me. We spent most of our time in Roma Norte so a 10 minute Uber ride ended up being 25 minutes due to big city traffic. Also there’s a crack of space under the bathroom door so you can hear EVERYTHING. May not be for you if you’re modest. ...
Great property, it has a heated pool & jacuzzi. A gum, cafe and restaurant. They have free airport shuttle. The rooms are big and clean. Only issue/complaint is that there's no fridge in the rooms and trying to get a bucket of ice is soo hard. Besides that the place is great. It's not in a great neighborhood so be cautious but it's only a 20-30mins Uber ride to Roma Norte, Zócalo, etc.. .. but I will say do not wear jewelry in Mexico sadly I was mugged on my second day of my trip but besides...
