Our stay was beyond amazing I celebrated my birthday at Ayung Resort the resort is a gem hidden 15 mins of central UBUD peaceful beautiful resort the resort is 5star hospitality we where only going to stay for 4nights and ended up for 8 nights! This is a lovely boutique hotel right outside the chaos of Ubud. It offers a quiet, relaxing environment and the pool is stunning. Best of all is the kind, caring staff who greet you and are eager to help in any way possible. I would definitely stay here again!
This property is amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. All the staffs were very friendly, courteous and attentive. They made me feel so welcomed and they all spoke English pretty well. They picked me up from the airport for about $30 U.S dollars and it was stress free. The property has an infinity pool and the view from my room of the rice field was so beautiful! They have a shuttle that runs every few hours to take you to the center of Ubud where you can walk around and eat and shop....
The Maya Ubud was incredible! Perfect for a couples getaway. The property and grounds are beautiful and the villas are quiet and very private. Even though the resort was almost full it never felt that way, the atmosphere was relaxed and luxurious the entire time. The breakfast buffet that is included in the room rate does not disappoint, it was our best meal most days.
The hotel location has easy access to the center of Ubud and the hotel has great (and cheap) taxi service anywhere you want to...
This was our first time in Bali and we started our trip in Ubud and stayed at the lovely Sri Ratih Cottage Hotel, what a gem of a place. It's located outside the main center of town,it's quite and I wished we booked a few more days longer. This hotel is marked as a 3 star hotel, but it's more like a 4-4/12 star hotel.

what a gorgeous lobby! check in was easy and quick, esp when they give you a refreshing cold drink while waiting. staff was always nice and helpful during the whole trip (suggested places to see traditional dance performances, looked up times for Yoga Barn for me, etc). Rooms were perfectly clean and comfy- showers were a little strange bc it was entirely see through, but manageable. hotel was within walking distance to so many places to see, eat, and shop, as well as atm and marts. best...

Great hotel, complimentary breakfast was delicious. Our room had a beautiful view of the jungle and the natural spring pool. The staff and service was very helpful and prompt. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main streets of Ubud, so we visited the nearby museum, Monkey Forest, shopping and restaurants without ever having to use a Taxi (although there are plenty of taxis).
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The customer service is exceptional. Conversing with the staff was like being with friends. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. I love their pillows. breakfast was very good. It had a good mix of traditional and western cuisean.

Our stay was simply amazing. The staff was top notch, and on top of everything that we could have (and did) ask for. The beach is about 200’ down the road, and is on a quieter street. There is construction, but barely noticeable. There is also sound of clubs at night (You would bear the clubs if you stayed anywhere in Canggu) as some other reviewers mentioned, but if you close the doors, and turn on the AC, the sound just blends in to everything else and did not affect our sleep. We’ve been coming to Bali fort ten years and The Pertiwi is by far our favourite hotel ! All of the staff are extremely kind and friendly ! The staff at the front desk always go out of there way to make us feel welcome . The hotel is perfectly located, lots of restaurants, shopping and Spas close by . I’m an early riser and love walking around at dawn . The ground are rugged and beautiful . You can’t help thinking , WOW !!! We’re staying in Bali for two mounts and definitely plan on coming...
