"Spectacular boutique hotel in the center of Rome, walking distance from the Spanish steps and Piazza Novona and the riverfront. Excellent restaurants and designer shops are at your doorstep, as are charming little streets filled with boutique shops. Stellar front desk staff pull double duty as your hosts and concierge, making you feel at home, arranging guided tours to all the sites, and setting up restaurant reservations at everything from local traditional restaurants to high end dining. "Portrait Roma was the perfect way to end our time in Rome. The location is fantastic, tucked away near Via Condotti and the Spanish Steps while still feeling peaceful and private. We were delighted that our room was ready when we arrived and very grateful for the complimentary upgrade to a Studio Deluxe. The hotel is elegant, luxurious and beautifully designed, yet still feels warm and welcoming. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully considered, and the service from the Lifestyle Team was...

"Excellent place. Finding entrance was a little tricky. Green door with a cafe next door. Press the buzzer then go in and find elevator to left. Small lift but at least there is a lift. Excellent rooms"

"Clean and spacious. As quiet as you can hope for in such an area. Close to major sites. The bed was very comfortable. Giacinta was very kind and pleasant. We will be back."

"A wonderful stay with elegant rooms, nice restaurant, attentive service, and thoughtful touches throughout. The staff made us feel welcome from arrival to departure. Would happily return."

"The location of the hotel is a double edged sword. It is within an easy walk to many major sites, but it is also next door to the Italian parliament building. That means that car access for taxis can be problematic with anti-terror barriers combined with crowds and very narrow ancient streets."

"Beautiful design hotel near the Spanish Step, with many restaurants nearby. The breakfast is outstanding - no lunch needed - and the dining room is welcoming and luxurious. The staff is multilingual, and very helpful and pleasant. We had a suite, and it was perfect, very spacious, and comfortable. The windows are noise-proof and the curtains keep the street light out. Also: a great bathroom with the iconic bidet. Some of the other rooms might be small, though. It's a historic building but there...
