"Always a pleasure to stay in this iconic hotel of Jakarta. Although this is not the newest hotel (not to call it the oldest), the quality of the amenities, the quality of the service, the location and the amicable and genuinely nice staff makes it my number one choice when staying in Jakarta."

"Hotel is a good value and good location, very close to the Monas (national monument), although the check-in staff was surprised when I said I wanted to walk there (it was an easy 15 minute walk). Very attentive and helpful about getting me on my way to the airport in in the early morning.
Only negative experience was at the restaurant, I wanted to have dinner there but the entire inside was booked for a private event and some of the staff was not friendly when I tried go in. Finally I got an outside table with a friendly server so it was ok, but again they were confused when I tried to go back in to pay.
(The adhan is very loud from the mosque across the street, but that is part of the local atmosphere.)
However generally a good location and I would stay there again."
