Hotels in El Macao

Rooms are spotless, staff were great and made you feel at home. Walk to the ocean. Nice town with nice honest people. Rick

The property is absolutely breathtaking. The attentiveness of the owners and wonderful staff was exceptional. I cannot thank them enough for making me feel welcome. The food was delicious, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Serenity and tranquility from the moment I stepped onto the property. I cannot wait to go back!!

From start to finish, the place was excellent. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Food was very good with all the different restaurants, drinks were flowing all day. All the different pools were great so you could have quiet time or entertainment. Shows available every night, sax players, singers sprinkled around the property. Not really much to complain about, maybe the little trinket people trying to sell you stuff or the people on the beach if being picky

It was a very beautiful resort and the staff were excellent! Would definitely go back.

Great place. No pressure. Food good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Airport pickup and return outstanding. Checkin seamless as well as checkout.

Excellent time at this bend over backwards to accommodate you all inclusive resort.

Overall stay was amazing. Rooms top notch clean. Property is beautiful. Our butler Juan was always on point and extremely helpful. Also Luisito always caring for our well being and on top of our transportation needs. The beach was bad due to sargasso but was already cleaning. Summertime is not a good time to use this area if the beach is your goal. Also menu restaurants were bad but the buffets were excellent. Don’t waste your time on those restaurants, go straight to the buffets, it’s the same...

Raul the butler was amazing. He helped me book restaurants, spa appointments, ride to the airport, and was very responsive and very kind. The food was great. My favorite restaurant was the Argentinian steakhouse. FYI if you book through Expedia, the sales team will give you a 2-3 hour presentation about the resort’s membership.

I stayed here for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience! I came up to my room and was greeted by one of staff with a small bday cake and a bottle of champagne, it was such a nice surprise!!! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, food was good, the grounds are kept up beautifully. Overall I recommend staying here and plan on coming back for sure! I cannot remember everyone's name but everyone of the staff is great!!

Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the balcony while watching the birds. Hotel staff was friendly and always ready to help.

Overall my experience was great. I did not like that my room was filled with bugs & dirty. My air also did not work and they worked on my room for hours and they couldn't give me a different room. They did fix the problems.

Our butler, Rodny, was amazing. He made our stay a breeze and took great care of us! The staff is really what makes this place great, they put in the extra effort to make sure we had a wonderful time!
