Nice room with very comfortable bed! The Gordon & Maggie were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient to Drymen which has an awesome coffee shop/bakery and a nice restaurant for dinner.
This was a beautiful place to spend the night! The room was large (with a surprisingly large bathroom), the dining was delicious, the service was impeccable and best of all, the employees were the nicest we’ve met on this trip to Scotland. We highly recommend the Oak Tree Inn!!
it was a very unique property as part of the property was owned by the town people who had gotten together to save the property from foreclosure and built an amazingly large gourmet restaurant for the whole town to enjoy
We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.!
Very large modern room, comfortable for families. Good sized bathroom and shower and hair dryer in the room. There is a nice restaurant downstairs, but also several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Also good parking at the hotel.

Property seemed very nice, though the picture advertised is a”wee” bit different. Hotel looks lovely inside but had a weird dam smell in the hallways. Like many hotels in Europe - NO AC which is rough, but they did bring up a small fan. Surrounding area is cute with little shops, bars and cafes and seemed cleaner - less graffiti and more “Kept up” than central Glasgow. They obviously need to spend more money to clean it up and its reminds me of some crappy areas in Manhattan that have bend let...
The location was great! We could easily walk to the castle and other attractions within the city. We did have a hard time finding the low cost parking advertised. However, there is a parking lot directly behind the hotel that is free after 5:30 or 6 pm until 8:30 am. Download the RingGo app if you don’t already have it. Dunroamin might be the most beautifully situated property we've ever stayed at. The farm is just gorgeous, as is the surrounding countryside. Our room was spotless, and everything was nice, new, and comfortable. We appreciated the tasty breakfast as well—it was the perfect start to the day. Highly recommend, and we'd gladly visit again!
