"Barrie is a quaint little town with many shops, restaurants and sights to see. CFB Borden is really close by. We enjoyed seeing the base with all of it's history and well made Museum. We will definitely visit again. As far as the hotel, the bed was super comfy, the walls aren't paper thin. It was very convenient being on the 1st floor and having sliding patio doors. I very much enjoyed the hot tub and tub in the room!! "

"Monte Carlo is a good hotel for a short stay. Breakfast was ok, but a little limited. It is reasonably quiet, but that can vary with level of noise that emanate from diverse patrons."

"Room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Breakfast had cereal, waffles, home fries. One morning had bacon and scrambled eggs. Second morning had sausages and omelets. The hotel is situated at a great spot near highways 11 & 12 with plenty of close options for dining and coffee. There’s no elevator but there’s only two floors."
