"I really liked how well situated this hotel was. It wasn't in the thick of things, but the 12 minute walk was far enough away that the neighbourhood was very quiet. There are two excellent restaurants down the street, in fact, our two favourite ones in the entire city, the Wood Fire Cafe and unfortunately, I can't remember the one adjacent to it (Pas?) and they were about a seven minute walk. There isn't much more going on in the neighborhood. The Belvedere hotel which is around the corner has...

"Our second stay here, this time we had breakfast on the last morning to make it easier leaving for airports. Definitely worth the money, all you can eat and freshly cooked. Room clean and bathroom smelt of bleach which was great as really clean. Super place and close to everything too."

"A perfect stay at Cassidy's Hotel. Situated not far from the Post Office on O’Connell Street. Friendly and efficient staff who are most helpful. Great room. We had breakfast which was plentiful and certainly set us up for the day ahead. "

The local was fab, 15/20 walk temple bar but why would you need to go that far, 5min walk to the Jameson distillery, beautiful open space plaza with shops, cafes, restaurants and more with a viewing platform and pubs. Smithfield is a truly amazing area of Dublin. "
