"My go to place to stay when visiting NZ. Great staff, always helpful and polite. Room is clean and comfortable and has all digital touch lighting. Blackout curtains are wonderful for someone like me who wants complete darkness. Location of the hotel is close to everything, walkable, convenient. I brought friend traveler here and it was the preferred hotel over the rest."

"Elegant Hotel in a great location at the top of town. Very close to the Civic Theatre when attending a show and with the new CRL operating, the station by Aotea Centre is also handy. Easy parking in the attached building."

"Clean property, great location, friendly and kind staff. Works well for short or longer stays"

"We were a bit surprised and disappointed to receive a room without a window. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at Lylo. It was quiet over night, very nice for a hostel and at a good location."

"The room was clean and the innkeeper was wonderful! "

"The staff made us feel welcome from start to finish, giving us good advice on local attractions and taking care of our needs, from food delivery to luggage storage. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in easy walking distance of many nice shops and restaurants, and about 30-40 minutes walk from Maungawhau (Mount Eden) and its stunning views of the city. We were very happy we chose to stay here!"

"Easy fast check in room was realy clean, well appointed had very comfy beds.. would stay again"

"We stay here regularly. Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms of all sizes up to 2-bedroom apartment style with kitchen. Handy to Parnell Rose Gardens, Parnell Baths, Parnell Shops, Auckland Domain, Newmarket, Spark Arena and Central City. And if you are lucky to get a room overlooking the harbour I have to say sitting on the deck with a coffee in the morning is relaxing and refreshing. Book early. Even though they have lots of rooms they fill up quick."
