Its an old house, but very nice, pleasant, and awesome restaurant

Staff wasn't there most of the time we were, bar and restaurant wasn't open when we were looking for food / drink, and one of our two rooms didn't have any free snacks as promised. Otherwise the property was great and the rooms were clean and as expected. They did a great job with the convent theme and the property/rooms were very nice.

our small group had loved staying at the convent hotel. the rooms had personal touches and the public areas - hotel bar, hallways, stairways had an eclectic mix of artwork. comfortable beds. great amenities. and an awesome "chef's selection" group dinner at their onsite restaurant - ada, which was a memorable highlight for most of us during our 12 day visit in new zealand. will love to return one day!
