"Motel One Basel is a perfect location for anyone attending Christmas Markets as the lobby opened onto the Plaza where one of the Markets was staged. Transportation on the tram line was just across the plaza so having no car was not a problem. I arrived prior to check-in but the front desk is staffed around the clock and they stored my luggage until my room was ready. I would stay here again. "

"A lovely traditional family run hotel. Rooms a bit dated but very comfortable. We were treated with a beautiful welcome gift as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. Breakfast was small but lovely. Staff very friendly. Location was perfect to tram & train (Basel card given by hotel worked great). I would really recommend this hotel for your next stay in Basel!"
