"Beautiful old hotel located right along the canal and close to restaurants and shopping. Upgraded to a room with a view of Parliament Hill. Breakfast was wonderful as was the service.However, the parking situation was horrendous. Waited for 20 minutes on the road leading to the hotel because I was advised there was valet parking. In frustration we drove to a parking garage about a twenty minute walk away. We also had noisy people in room next door who appeared to be fighting."

"Everything was clean and pleasant. Didn't spend too much time there just a quick overnight trip. My window shade was broken so I couldn't open to get sunlight. Breakfast was not included, but that just might be the room I booked thru Expedia not sure. I would stay there again if I go back to Ottawa."
