A charming suite the owner and his wife built above the detached garage for their teenage daughters, now grown and moved away, this rental has three rooms--a living room, bedroom, and large bathroom--along with a private deck. The rooms have slanted roofs, gabled windows and a built-in window seat. All are wallpapered, curtained, and upholstered in feminine patterns. My husband and I booked ViewCrest last minute because the weather was bad for camping. We were really happy with our stay. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The check-in was very fast and the girl who helped us was friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice, quiet spot in Trinidad.
Very clean, loved the breakfast options in the morning! Pool was available untill 10pm!!! Only downside was the walls are thin and you can hear the next room over but it beats other Hotels near by I give a 5 star I would definitely be back in the future!

The property is incredible, the staff are amazing and the food is excellent. The surrounding area can be a bit of a culture shock if not from the area, lots of homelessness, but that being said, felt safe the entire time.
We enjoyed everything about the cabin!! Plenty of parking for our bikes. Additionally, we were able to watch the Scottish wedding and enjoy their wonderful music and see people dancing, absolutely perfect!!

Great location on the beach with straight access to beach combing and star gazing. Funky retro place with a comfortable bed and good free coffee, sodas, and snacks.
Very happy with this hotel. Just a couple of minutes to cool downtown Arcata and Humboldt State University, and Arcata Community Forest, a must see.
A pleasant 45 minute drive from Fern Valley and beautiful scenery up 101.
