Boulder Creek Path offers a natural escape just steps from craft breweries and farm-to-table restaurants. Dining options range from casual cafes to upscale eateries featuring Colorado specialties and mountain views. Most attractions sit within a three-block radius, making it perfect for car-free exploration. Boutique hotels in restored Victorian buildings provide stylish accommodations with easy access to downtown's lively yet laid-back scene.

Students and visitors alike enjoy cozy coffee houses with mismatched furniture and local art. CU Boulder's stunning red-tile roofs and sandstone buildings create a picturesque backdrop for your adventures. The neighborhood serves up an eclectic mix of eateries from late-night pizza joints to farm-to-table bistros with student-friendly prices. Most destinations are within walking distance, with RTD bus routes connecting campus to downtown Boulder. Bike-friendly streets make exploring easy, while nearby Chautauqua Park offers hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts.

Whittier

The area's minimal dining options mean you'll want to venture to nearby Pearl Street Mall for restaurants and shopping. Accommodations focus on vacation rentals and bed & breakfasts in converted early 1900s homes. Getting around is best done on foot or by bike through the neighborhood's flat, leafy streets.

Mapleton Hill

This Boulder neighborhood showcases stunning homes from the 1880s with ornate details and wraparound porches. Take peaceful walks under the magnificent silver maples or venture to nearby hiking trails for mountain views. The neighborhood's charm lies in its historic streetscapes rather than tourist attractions. Just a short stroll away, downtown Boulder offers restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options that contrast with Mapleton's quiet residential vibe. Accommodation options include upscale vacation rentals and boutique bed-and-breakfasts housed in historic homes. Though public transit is limited, the neighborhood's excellent walkability makes exploration a delight.

Most attractions are within easy walking distance, and bike lanes make two-wheeled exploration a breeze. When day turns to night, catch live music at Boulder Theater or simply people-watch from a sidewalk café.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boulder
"very courteous and helpful staff. I have celiac disease and just wish there could be more gluten free options besides eggs and meat for breakfast."

Hotel Boulderado
"Our home internet went down Friday afternoon just before Labor Day weekend. Custumer Service said they could not get a Tech out to fix it until Tuesday due to the holiday. It has already been a stressful week and rather than spend a three-day weekend home with no internet I decided to book a room at a nearby hotel. The Boulderado had last minute availability so we threw some stuff in a bag and drove over. We had never stayed here before but were immediately impressed by how charming yet grand it is. Our room in the new wing was very nice and clean with a large bathroom and sliding door with a Juliette balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard with a fountain. There are lots of really great restaurants nearby but honestly the food and service at both the bar and Spruce restaurant in the hotel was the best! We had brunch and dinner at the Spruce. All of the front desk staff, servers, valets, and maids were so friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. They even invited us back for Christmas! Several friends have said they go all out with really beautiful decorations and traditions. We can't wait to go back again!"
Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder
"Everything was top notch. Comfortable beds lots of pillows. Good quality towels. The breakfast was wonderful- made to your liking omelets and even the oatmeal was so good. Only one comment - I do wish there were one or two more hooks in bathroom and also it would have been helpful to have either a few other drawers or even hooks on other walls. These are by no means deal breakers! I would be delighted to stay here again"
