Given the timing of the visit there wasn't much to do outdoors unless you wanted to ski. But the community is nice and I really like that small town feeling. Plus the forest all around was always a nice feeling.

Town seems a work in process. Some neighborhoods pretty seedy while others are picture book perfect. The large city and state parks make it a worthy destination.

I love the town of Show Low. This was my first time having to rent a hotel. Normally I camp, rent a cabin or stay in my RV so I wasn't familiar with the hotel prior to booking. I would not book there again.

"Sunny was a very nice employee, willing to accommodate us to stay until 1pm for free because we had broken down in Show Low from Eagar and had to spend the night at the motel. Our mechanic came to the motel to get us back on the road which of course took some time and luckily they let us stay until 1pm so my kid's did not have to sit out in the sun/heat while they worked on the vehicle. Ron, the front desk clerk for the next day was also nice and helpful. While the floors made our feet black(lol) that was a small price to pay for an overall great experience. I recommend this place!!"
"It was an older Holiday Inn than we’re used too, but it didn’t look run down. Hotel was still cute, clean and very quiet. The beds wasn’t the greatest, but it wasn’t horrible. Appreciated the clean sheets. Our room had ample space to fit 4 adults, a toddler, and a baby. Appreciate the complimentary roll-in bed & crib. Front desk and room service staff is very nice. Would stay here again!"
"Room very clean, bed comfortable, manager was accommodating because I needed a ground level room because I'm handicapped. This hotel doesn't have an elevator. He gladly switched rooms for me. "
