My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this 5-star resort! It is the type of place I look forward to returning to. Super safe and peaceful property with trustworthy employees. The staff really go out of their way to be kind and we felt each of them did an excellent job!
The hotel room had a thoughtful design with plenty of space for two. I enjoyed that the toilet was in a different room than the shower. As we were there a week, I also found the large closet system well designed. I...

The Algarve is amazing. We didn’t want to leave and tried to change our flight. The resort had everything you would need: beautiful swimming pools, restaurants, game room, and a gym. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a two bedroom unit. We enjoyed the kitchen, balcony, and large rooms. There is a free shuttle to the marina or the beach. Both are nice but overcrowded in the summer. We chose other beaches. In the evenings we rented bikes and ride into town for dinner. We highly recommend nearby Bem...

Great 10 days stay at this resort. Plenty for all to do, and a great amount of high end facilities on offer. There are a number of pools here, which catered for all types of guests, families with young children, or one for couples. The villa's were very well equipped and serviced daily. The staff were very attentive, but not intrusive. When having a conversation, they seem to genuinely care about your comments, rather than the cliché 'have a nice day' type quotes. They were the best staff I have experienced. They were considerate, responsive, detailed oriented and demonstrated the ability to properly respond to ones needs.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

this is the 5th time that we stayed at Vilalara...this says something. We come here for the fantastic Thalasso spa and its great staff (multi lingual and so friendly), the most beautiful settings, the most unique gardens, the six pools, the direct access to their wonderful beach and also the location (easy to to reach). We spent a happy sojourn of 12 days
and are ready to come back next year. Compared to ours previous experiences when Accor managed the place we had the feeling that there is...

The front desk staff was very helpful. We wished we could've extended our stay but they didn't have vacancies.
Felipe in the bar area was so nice and welcoming! Definitely made us develop a love for Portugal and his amazing champagne sangria is something you don't want to miss out on!

Beautiful, well maintained resort! We are a family of 4, we stayed in double room with a valley view. Bathroom was a large spa-like space. My kids enjoyed the pool and snacks from the pool bar. We played two round of golf on the property course. Easy drive to the marina and beaches!

Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15
Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

Accommodating spa staff with trip delay. Clean and quiet. Not a buffet fan but the breakfast one was amazing. Wish we would have asked about beach access earlier it’s so close with a cute beach bar and food. Will be back.
