Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

Rooms cleaned daily with a Cozy cabin like ambiance. Food & Drinks Fresh Made to order. Staff Very hospitable and Kind Always willing to assist in every need. They made us feel like Home!

I loved the hotel. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive. We experienced a few issues both before and during our stay, but they handled everything quickly and resolved them in the best possible way, which made us forget about them. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Spots around Cartagena tend to be touristed in a so-crowded-you-can't-see-the-beach way which is especially why we adored this lovely hotel. My boyfriend and I came here for two nights during the Christmas holiday. It’s an amazing place with beautiful facilities, nice lodging and helpful staff. We stayed in once of the huts which had an outdoor shower and also AC (much appreciated in Cartagena). We were assigned a table/daybed by the beach which was amazing (these are usually reserved for groups of 6). We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the sea. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, more so than anticipated, and drinks were great....

This was a very inexpensive hotel on an Island with its own beach and a pool. There are no roads or cars. The employees could not have been more friendlier, helpful, and just all and alll fantastic! The on site restaurant had really good food and was unbelievably reasonable. If your looking for an “old school” type getaway that’s off the grid and not fancy this is the place.

It was clean. It is like a tiki hut. No wifi, no tv. Updated bathroom. They had a nice private plunge pool. They came and took dinner order. It took awhile to get dinner, but they are walking up mountain. It is not for anyone who can't do a lot of stairs. I would have liked a blanket on the bed and hot water. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and the person they are with.

From the moment I arrived I knew I just found my new vacation resort. From the bar staff, to the cleaning staff, to the hotel management .. a perfect vacation. I will defiantly return. Job well done!!

Love this hotel had a fantastic time It is on a public beach so you have to be aware of vendors also the area outside the hotel can be walked through but only in the day

My friend and I (2 women) stayed one night and felt safe and looked after by staff. Our room was large and clean. We felt we were among locals and not in a tourist enclave. The best part was being able to walk to the airport for our morning departure flight with no worries about being there on time due to traffic.

We got the room with the view of Castillo De San Felipe and was amazing.The room was so big and nice.Hot water,nice bath.Near by the Mall. We will stay here again. Youtube channel@Sabas vlogs

SUCH a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of the walled city. We loved this place so much we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms felt grand, great decor, and rooftop was GREAT! Highly recommend.
