Barton Manor Hotel & Spa, BW Signature Collection
8/10 Good
"Easy parking at the front of the hotel, friendly welcome. Loved that the check in was after 2pm! Room was an Exec Patio king which was on the ground floor of the new wing, overlooking the front. Very clean, with toiletries, iron ironing board, coffee machine, kettle, simple but good storage for a couple of nights stay. Shelving for own toiletries in bathroom and great mirrors/lighting. Hairdryer, smart tv. Comfortable bed and pillows, usb ports beside bed, blackout curtains, and patio door with outside table and chairs. To use the inside pool you were charged £10 for 2 sessions and were a towel. Lockers to use were £1. Very disappointing spa facilities. No shower gel/shampoo provided. One water replenishment machine was in an award position, in a unisex changing area, not in spa itself. The whirlpool didn’t have any bubbles. Pool steps not clean and rubbish left in the sauna, unfortunately won’t be using again. The front reception/bar area did smell of sewage but not sure if that’s a permanent smell or the amount of rainfall. Despite the negativity we did have a lovely room and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and a great choice of buffet."
Holiday Inn Express Preston - South by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Everything we needed for our stopover 1 night, we really needed it as weather was terrible and journey so far had been really slow."
Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston
8/10 Good
"Several visits now. Staff and Food always excellent. The Steam Room in the Spa was Out of Order, which was a shame. I now mention it every time about the front door, it is so heavy and difficult to open. A motorised power door should be installed. Also, the state of the car park is atrocious. I don't care that it is a 3rd Party, It is bringing the hotel down."
The Hotel at Mill Farm
10/10 Excellent
"Room overlooking the football ground with huge bathroom comfortable bed and really clean the sports bar downstairs was massive with lots of tv,s and the breakfast was second to none only down side was only being able to check in from 3 but would stay again"
No.10 Preston
8/10 Good
"Great location, comfortable rooms, very friendly and responsive staff, super easy check in. Would definitely stay again. Note- there isn’t an elevator/lift, if that is important for you. There was also an odor from the bathroom from time to time, we think it came from the plumbin/pipes. Overall, a great choice in Preston."
The Birley Arms Hotel
8/10 Good
"Hotel/Pub could do with a light refurb. The staff make the most of what they have. The staff were brilliant, however visitors should note the currently dont do breakfast but the staff sent us to an excellent place. Meals were good quality pub grub."
Fishergate Residences
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, modern and spacious rooms with easy parking at the rear and easy access to the rooms. All very secure and communication was excellent. Comfy beds and lush bathrooms with kitchen facilities. 10/10."
Garstang Country Hotel & Golf, Sure Hotel Collection
8/10 Good
"The room allocated was obviously well used, however its in need of updating particularly the bathroom. Shower curtain and tile grouting needs replacing ASAP. On the plus side food was good and plentiful. Service particularly from the two ladies at breakfast was very good."
City Studios Preston
10/10 Excellent
"Good stay as usual. The place is adequately clean and the reception and cleaning staff are stars. I got given a room which was a little noisy for me (next to the pub) but they changed my room when requested to a nice quiet one. Thank you!"
