"We stayed for one night. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to quite a lot in the area. We had valet parking which was very nice since parking for the hotel is down the street. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was very good and the waitstaff very attentive. However, when we sat down for dinner the water glasses were filthy. Mine had old lipstick marks all around the edges and his was just plain dirty. Needless to say we asked for clean glassware. We had drinks in the bar. We were disappointed that they had a "Girl's Fun Night Out" thing going on in the bar they had psychic's there. We were not aware of it when we booked and it was very crowded in the bar. It took awhile to get drinks because they only had one barmaid working there. The drinks are too high! $20 for a tequila sunrise. We had 2 drinks and a beer and it cost us $45.00 not including the tip. Just be aware before you order to ask the price first! The room was large and clean. It was a handicap accessible room, however the sliding bathroom door is very heavy and hard to slide. The curtains in the room.... were actually dry rotted and had several holes. Room 117 if the hotel is reviewing this. I think for a high end hotel they can do better. We were not horribly disappointed but would not stay there again."

"We had a great mid-October stay. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Location was perfect. All of the on-sites food options were fun and delicious. Room was clean and cute. The staff, especially David at the front desk, were extremely kind and helpful. Very glad we chose to stay at Silver Sands."

"Great location, just off the highway where I-395 merges with I-95 and close to some good restaurants (e.g. Flander’s Fish Market, Coastal Crust - awesome pizza!) on Chesterfield Rd. Clean room and comfortable bed. WiFi worked well. Continental breakfast was definitely appreciated. My only complaint is that the pool was over-chlorinated. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and the chlorine was seriously overpowering to my nasal passages. Thankfully it did seem to dissipate by the next morning. I think that the pool should also be monitored a little bit more closely. Other than that, not a half-bad place to stay."

"Rooms were nice, restaurant was nice and staff was great in restaurant. We picked this hotel because they have a restaurant and a bar for a drink after dinner, it was 8:30 and he was closing the bar he said it was no problem, he made the drink and gave us our bill at the same time did not talk at all and a little rude. I also read they have live music and they did not."
