We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and available, we were greeted with refreshments on arrival and personally walked to our rooms. A great relaxing hotel with all the needed services. The spa is relatively small (not for Europe) and provide very good services professionally delivered. The breakfast is very good and excellent service.
The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed, however, be aware of lack of privacy if traveling with friends or family members, the shower is all glass and visible from all angles of the room, the toilet a bit better but not totally private either.

Our room was upgraded - clean and comfortable, double sinks, Returning later at night to the room, we discovered a bottle of champaign with a beautiful pastry with a candle and matches. They noticed that my husband had a birthday that day. The hotel is in the center of the city, next to Sao Bento train station that we used for reaching close-by towns - Braga, Aveiro. We liked everything!
I had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast they brought to your room every morning was delicious! It was a nice, small boutique hotel. My room was the first one off the lobby so I didn't get to see much else, but from what I saw, the building was beautiful! I had a great view from my room with a balcony.
