"I wish the hotel had told me that there was a strike going on with the security staff. I would have booked another hotel and gone to this hotel after the strike. It took over one and a half hours to get back into the hotel because the picket lines were stopping us from entering the property. After an evening out sitting on Derry road in the car for this time was not acceptable. I understand that unions can picket but if I had known about the strike I would have used another hotel."

"Two couples spent 3 nights in this hotel. A great location by the harbour and awesome service. We enjoyed breakfast at Roses for two mornings, delicious and reasonable prices. Our last evening we decided to go to Valerie’s for dinner a bit of a disappointment. We did have a great server Jasmine who helped us out with understanding the menu. We were not aware that there was an upper and lower level until after our dinner. We were directed to the upper level. The tables were in rough shape no placemats or table cloths. My hands were sticking to the table plus the sun was in my face since there were no window shades. Based on the prices on the menu we thought this was an upscale restaurant. The pool area is lovely, but there was no mention that we needed to book an appointment to use the pool. We have to send a shout out to Tino the Bellhop person, very attentive, and aiming to please the guests. Mentioned shuttle service was available within a 5 mile radius which was helpful during our stay."

"The shuttle too and from the airport was very convenient and on time. Check in was easy and quick. Room overall clean except a few spots in the bathroom that needed more attention. Otherwise a good stay close to the airport."

"The room: The room was clean overall in spaces you could see, but definitely dusty in other areas that aren’t necessarily easy to see. For example the top of the headboards, the tops of the lamps, top of the tv, were dusty. But the beds, surfaces, microwave, fridge were clean. The staff: They were amazing, always accommodating to every single needs we had. For example we needed toothpaste and laundry detergent and they had it. The Breakfast: Definitely worth the price with the free breakfast. It has everything you could think of for breakfast and it was always freshly made. And one more thing I really liked was how accessible the hotel shuttle was to and from the airport. Definitely made things easier, and we didn’t have to worry about the transit which is always a plus in my books especially in Toronto."
