Learn more about Bridgewater
Glide a kayak across Lake Nippenicket's mirror-like surface, where turtles sun themselves on half-submerged logs. Bridgewater State College students mix with locals at downtown cafés that maintain their small-town feel despite the academic presence. The Old Bridgewater Historical Society houses artifacts that tell stories more interesting than their modest display cases suggest. Massasoit State Park offers trails where you can walk for an hour without hearing a car, while Olde Scotland Links provides a challenging public golf course that doesn't require a second mortgage to play. For a perfect summer evening, bring a blanket to concerts on the common, where families spread picnics and children chase fireflies with the timeless enthusiasm that makes New England towns feel like living postcards.

Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree
"Enjoyed my stay"
Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor
"I was little confused that there was no phone in the room. That's the first time i've ever been in a hotel room. But no phone"
Hyatt Place Boston/Braintree
"Great staff at the reception desk and at breakfast"
Best Western The Inn at Sharon/Foxboro
"Decent breakfast and a great no frills hotel"
Pilgrim Sands on Long Beach
"Pilgrim Sands' best feature is the ocean being right off the back patio, and a bar/food window to the patio, so you can enjoy the view while you kick back with a beverage or snack. It was also nice that they have 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), and a basic complimentary breakfast. The motel rooms were clean, and relatively updated, though the a/c was a little clunky. But the location (quick drive to Plimouth Museum and Plymouth center), and the proximity to the nearby beaches to walk, along with that patio, make it worth the money."
Garner Hotel Brockton - Boston by IHG
"Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the rugs in the hallways They are very stained and don't look good. These rugs need a deep cleaning or need to be changed."
Ramada by Wyndham Seekonk Providence Area
"I enjoyed my stay thus far ,staff /housekeeping was helpful"
