If you are planning to visit Florence, this is the hotel you should book! It won't let you down. Your Florence stay will be brilliant and memorable. I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...

Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.

I can't imagine what people could possibly complain about at this hotel. The staff is warm and welcoming. The breakfast served is excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable - and very quiet. Florence tends to be a noisy city, with scooters buzzing about day and night and trucks rumbling around on cobblestones, but the Regency is an oasis of peaceful quietness. Best part of the stay was meeting Marco the owner and excellent breakfast (he made all the cakes himself) and enjoying the beautiful backyard which smelled amazing due to all the jasmine vines.

I travel to Florence for work often but my meetings are usually just outside of the city center. Since I drive, this was an ideal location. This is now my hotel of choice.

Lovely hotel even though a bit out of the way and about 30 minutes from Florence center.

I felt very safe there. Loved that I needed a code to get into the building. Then I needed another code to go down the hallway to get to my room. The staff ordered 2 taxis for me. Their attentiveness was superior! Whenever I messaged them, they always answered quickly. The location was great. Very close to the metro and it was a relatively short walk to the attractions. Never stayed in a guesthouse before, but it was perfect. We stayed 7 days.

Nice place convenient location outside of Florence, lady that took care of us was nice. No elevator that I noted. Area was a nice quiet nook.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.

The property is in the middle of where you want to be. The staff was exceptional. The rooms were spotless and well accommodated. My wife and I had one room and our 3 college aged kids had another. The breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful attached rooms - great location near restaurants and quick walk to the river and Uffizi museum. BEST breakfast on our entire trip!!

Great place in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. We stayed one night due to an early flight. We were able to park the rental car on-site for free. We returned the car to the airport rental lot at 5:30 am.

My husband and I loved the Hotel Roma. It is ideally located within walking distance to the train station and next to a piazza full of restaurants. The room was a nice size and the breakfast buffet was a great start to each day.

The staff was very nice. The hotel was very good. The location was fine, it was in a quiet place but walkable to all the surrounding points of interest. The lobby and the room were fine. The variety of the breakfast (buffet) was very good. I just didn't like the furniture of the room since it was a mixture of some different styles. The bathroom was nice, modern but one of the doors of the shower was missing so when we took a shower we spilled water all around.

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing.
