"Clean room. Friendly staff."

"Two night stay with family. We had a wonderful time. Staff are all so very nice and helpful. We had two separate rooms (one night a queen bed, second night 2 queen beds 6th floor and 1st floor) - both room nice size. The air conditioner is very loud in both rooms and both rooms are clean, but look dirty in spots (stains on walls and dirt build up in corners. We spent most time in the pool - the whole area did need a good scrub. Pool was nice but felt a bit slimy in spots, but didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Along the walls of the pool had a lot of scum buildup (people have been writing their names in it lol) The hot tub area was decent, but could use a good deep clean as well. There is a tv in the pool area, which is wonderful and we enjoyed that while in the pool. The pool never got over busy, so that was a bonus, as we usually had it all to ourselves. Breakfast was wonderful and area was kept fresh and clean at all times. Parking was always plentiful. The snacks and drinks for sale are all reasonable price, not like other hotels where they charge ridiculous amounts for a bag of chips. Free coffee, tea, water and hot chocolate 24/7, which is great. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be staying here. One thing I was a bit sad about, but is minor, that we couldn't watch our Netflix on the tv. The tv remote channel guide doesn't work and it takes forever to flip through each channel. Also, phone charging plugs would be nice. "

"Breakfast was good, fresh and hot. Parking was plentiful and safe. Garbage bins were emotied when we were there, but the truck left lots of large cardboard and paper was blowing into the flowerbeds. The pool was absolutely free,ing and we could go in it during our stay. On our last day we enjoyed the warm pool at the hotel next door."

"My room was great, clean, as always. The staff was very helpful when I had questions. I come here once a year for a getaway and because I take the train, I have nowhere to leave my suitcase until check in. This hotel allows me to leave my suitcase with them and it is great. If I had one wish, it is that you would replace your coffee makers with keurig single serve machines. It would make my stay over and above. Regardless, I am already planning next year's stay and plan to stay even longer. I also like that the staff honours the privace please request on the door. I never needed service and if there was something I needed I either just asked the front desk or one of the housekeepers in the hallway. They were also helpful in taking my garbage bags from me. I also love that you have laundry facilities so that I am able to pack a little lighter."

"Good Breakfast options, easy parking when given a ground floor room. The staff was also very accommodating for our request of a ground floor room when we came with our dog, there is no way to request this on the app so we were very happy they were able to accommodate. Also the pet fee on this hotel is the best in Guelph and well worth it."
