The place looks like a fantasy, a castle in Illinois, each room different, unusual, charming. Most charming: the owners, who very sincerely want their guests to love the place. We needed to change hotels quick, as kids were along and they wanted a pool to swim in. A few surrounding hotels pool's were closed, and this one wasn't. Sure glad we got to stay here!! Super clean, kitchenettes in each room, ours had a full size fridge, 2-burner cook top, full size microhood, and lots of space! Hot breakfast was very good too. Great location by local brew houses and walking to many places. Easy access to hwy. Only issue were the trains at night that we didn't know about yet...

Quaint and out-of-the-way, very unexpected from what I thought it was going to be like, but in a great way. It felt very secluded (maybe because we drove in at night during a Severe Thunderstorm) and private, which led to the fun and adventure of family vacation!
