Nice breweries - good mix of dining options, and plenty to do for outdoor lovers - skiing @ Whistler less than an hour away, hiking and Mtn biking trails all over town and nearby, a cool atmosphere overall of locals and travelers.

Not a taxi friendly city. We waited 30 minutes for a taxi company with one car

Squamish was great. Lots of outdoor activities when the weather is nice.
"Clean room, spacious quiet and everything was actually working. A bit farther away from the Village but if you are ok with a 4 minute drive (or a quick bus ride) it's worthed. "
"Love this resort for the in-room washer/dryer, quiet location and friendly staff. The games room and pool make for a fun family friendly get away. I would caution people, Creekside is much quieter than the Village during summer time and restaurants etc. close down early. "
