It's an old property and so are amenities but very well kept taken care by the very friendly staff. It's right in middle of downtown. Some rooms doesn't have Air conditioning but are equipped with fans. Best cheap deal for small get away.

A basic hotel built in 1920’s. We were located on the 2nd floor with no lift. The first floor has a spiral staircase, so not ideal if you can’t carry heavy suitecases. The room was clean and tidy and ideal for a stop-over

The property/building is older as many places around it but everything was clean and really appreciated the white bedding and white towels that were evidently fresh. The room door locked securely but wasn’t fully sealed so the sounds of people talking (which wasn’t often) did come through easily. Excellent location - away from the busier main roads and beautiful views from around the property. Would consider staying there if going for a short visit again.

The problem with this hotel is that it is in a not so great neighborhood but as long as you do not leave things in your car it is okay. Also there is a spiral staircase going up to the rooms which is difficult to carry luggage up but the staff was very helpful with doing that. Also, there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall a nice room and good value for the money.

The room itself was clean, and the surrounding area was acceptable. However, the overall experience was disappointing. When staff were available, they were not particularly welcoming or helpful. The room did not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. Additionally, the liquor store and pub located below the hotel, along with some nearby residents, generated significant noise for much of the evening. I also noticed that emergency doors and windows were left open overnight and were only closed by the morning. The hallways and common areas had a noticeable musty odor, which further detracted from the stay. The most redeeming aspect of the stay was the price, as it was one of the cheapest options in the area. Unfortunately, the overall experience reflected that cost. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Comfortable for a overnight stay on a quick business trip. There's one thing that stood out. No heat in the bathroom!! Otherwise excellent. It had an aircon unit with a sign saying not to use it. This was fine with me, it was chilly in the room and the main heat did the job. However before the end of the month (June) it will be needed. If I need to return to Squamish I will stay again. If it's during the summer I will be sure to verify that there's a usable aircon unit.
