Parking is narrow, it is difficult to use. They really need to get more parking space.
Had trouble with the shower in the morning: water flow went from zero to enough and then zero, prolly lots of people taking a shower at the same time, was afraid of ending up with soap all over.
Puterenas is a busy port and not really a center for tourism. I reserved here as a halfway point from Tamarindo to Quepos. What a wonderful surprise. Beautiful large condo unit with fabulous views of the water and boats on both sides of the property. 2 great pools, full professional gym with all the machines and free weights, and a great little restaurant.

Wonderful place and lovely host. Their bioluminescence tour with Luis was amazing! Bed is comfortable. Be aware that there is no AC and it is 80 degrees at night. They have a great set up, fans pointed at the beds. Highly recommend this proprty!
The birding on the property was great, especially walking the road away from the highway (Scarlet Macaws and Howler Monkeys when we arrived!). The tower provided wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Abram was a great host who prepared delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. I found the mattresses to be a bit too firm, but our kids slept like rocks. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues, like a bathroom door that didn't fully close. It was an absolutely amazing place to stay at! Everyone was so kind and helpful! The property really felt like heaven on earth. The views were gorgeous, their oasis was relaxing and amazing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday.
A beautiful space, well suited for our family of 4 with 2 teens. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. We spotted many birds from the outdoor area including white throated parrots and keel billed toucans. Even if it's raining there is a screened patio room and covered porch. This is a beautiful area and a lovely place to stay.

This isn't a comment towards the hotel, but we felt important for visitors to know that the beach isn't a great swimming beach. It is great for sunrises, long walks, and not sharing it with many other people.

We had a 7:00 am tour so we couldn’t utilize regular breakfast. They made us a sandwich, fruit, and juice which was appreciated, but if all that was done, they could have just as easily fed us normal breakfast a little early. Also, a little difficult to check out and still be able to access your car when you return.
