Learn more about Bardstown
Bourbon flows through this town's veins, with distillery tours at Heaven Hill and Barton 1792 revealing the secrets behind America's native spirit. My Old Kentucky Home State Park preserves the mansion that inspired Stephen Foster's famous ballad, with summer performances under starry skies. The historic downtown square features Federal-style buildings housing bourbon-themed shops and tasting rooms. Art lovers can explore the Bardstown Art Gallery, while history buffs will appreciate the Civil War Museum. Between bourbon samplings, family-friendly attractions like Shaq & Coco offer diversions for younger visitors. Even non-drinkers find charm in this self-proclaimed 'Most Beautiful Small Town in America' with its tree-lined streets and genuine hospitality.

Talbott Inn
"From the moment we walked, we knew this was a special place. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was pristine. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The location of this inn is perfect, walking distance to downtown, bars, shops, restaurants. Don’t miss dining in the restaurant for dinner, that was a lovely experience too."
Old Bardstown Inn
"Room was very clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant "
Bourbon Manor B&B
"We really enjoyed our stay at Bourbon Manor B&B. Todd, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful with our trip, and he was willing to accommodate special requests, including helping arrange a birthday cake for my husband. The rooms were charming and had a historic feel, and even though the buildings are old, they were well maintained and comfortable. The property itself was really pretty, and breakfast was delicious. It also had a homey, welcoming atmosphere and was a nice place to meet and chat with other guests. The only thing I would mention is that I’m not sure where the bar photo in the hotel pictures was taken. They have a newer bar building now that looks completely different. Other than that, it was a lovely stay."
