"I want to get this straight the low stars is specifically for expedia!!!! This is the last time im ever using expedia!!!!! This is now the second time I've paid extra for a hotel mind you not even the same hotel not even in the same state. I paid extra for a large room with a hot tub/jacuzzi. Absolutely no where did it state the tubs haven't worked for a long time. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room then because im not paying extra again for a room that costs more do to a specific item in the room and it doesn't even work! The hotel staff told us its a common issue with Expedia they have informed them multiple times they don't work and wont change the listing. Not only that but it was a non smoking hotel and our room reeked of cigarettes. The lady did everything she could to make it better for us but I couldn't cancel my reservation or change rooms do to fully booked hotel and signing through Expedia. I ended up with a headache and was unhappy with my stay outside of the nice woman at the main desk."

"Room needed updating. The carpet was buckled and needed to be cleaned or replaced. The furniture also needed updating. There was no iron in the room. There was no elevator and it was a bit challenging to get to the room with luggage. Grounds were lovely."

"Generally speaking, the property was clean well run, and the breakfast was decent. However, in my room were the problems there’s barely any water pressure in the sink and the tub which was recently renovated or replaced was very slick. I fell getting out of the tub and hit my back on the tub lip. Thankfully, I was not seriously injured. I reported this to the front desk and they made an incident report, but never gave me a copy of it. They then offered me a plastic mat to stand on in the tub, which adhere to the surface. Why was this not offered to me when I checked in and why was I not advised a due to the reason, renovations tub may be slick several other people at breakfast told me they had also almost fallen in the tub maybe rethink or redo the tub so they’re not a danger. I’m not a lawsuit. Happy person, but had I’ve been seriously injured. I probably would’ve sued you. I wasn’t offered anything really other than an apology. I could’ve been really badly hurt. Seems many of these hotel chains are owned by certain groups who don’t want to spend any money and Their customers get to suffer as a result. This hotel is OK, but I certainly would not go running back to it."

"Even though the staff is nice the rooms are only stacked with one set of towels and expect no bar soap nor the bottles in the shower to be full. The front desk will give you bar soap but refilling those bottles seems to be an impossible feat and a foreign concept ( probably why they are empty). The rooms have 2 light bulbs and its a guessing game on which lamps have the bulbs. Couple that with most of the electrical cords are unplugged it gets into the comical range of what else can go wrong. My room appear to be a scene from some people either partying hard or have a really bad day as all but two pictures had the glass broken or pushed in. In short if you need a place to crash grab your hockey puck of bar soap at the front desk and have your phone light on if you come after dark. Good news is the AC works really well so if you live like a penguin than you're all set. Probably should look else where but it is a place to crash with soft beds and a meal on the way out the door."
