Holiday Inn Va Beach-Oceanside (21st St) by IHG
"The location of the hotel was perfect! It was beachfront and right across the street from the boardwalk. Walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants, and steps away from the beach. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I felt like the parking should have been included in the room stay. Instead there was a $26.50 daily fee ($25.00 + $1.50 tax). We did eat at the hotel restaurant for dinner. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the beach! The food and the service were very good! Overall this hotel is a great beachfront option for the money in Virginia Beach!"

"The breakfast was ok, but scrambled eggs should be offered daily. Not everyone likes egg white omelettes."

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Norfolk Virginia Beach
"Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The only problem we had was the water in the bath tub would not turn off completely it kept running all night."

"Liked beachaccess , location to access area, staff friendly and helpful."
Schooner Inn
"The only interaction with staff was while checking in. Although everything is very outdated our room was clean. We had plenty of hot water. The shower head is very low. Being able to wake up to seeing and hearing the ocean was awesome! The bed was terrible, the edges were hard and you sank in the middle."
Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach North Beach by IHG
"This is our 4th stay in VA Beach and we love it here. You can pretty much walk to wherever you need to go, but if you don't feel like walking, they have a trolley service that goes up and down Atlantic Ave. all day & night for $4.25/day. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean. It would be nice if they had chairs available on the beach, like they do around the pool. If you're traveling by plane, packing a beach chair and umbrella is most likely not going to happen. You have to rent umbrellas and chairs if you want to get a little shade. We saved a few bucks by buying some cheap folding chairs at one of the beach shops across the street, then rented the umbrella only. Otherwise, you're looking about $100/day to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella. All in all, it was a nice stay and the weather was beautiful, as always."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront by IHG
"The location was great! The staff was very friendly and responsive. However, our room was not as I would expect for this brand. The air-conditioner was filthy. Outside and the filters had a thick build up of dust and dirt. I reported it and it was taken care of immediately. But it clearly is never cleaned on the regular basis. The shower was dirty as well. Other then the lack of cleanliness everything ease was fine."
