Downtown St. Paul
Downtown St. Paul blends historic charm with cultural richness at every turn. The iconic Cathedral of Saint Paul and Landmark Center showcase architectural splendor, while museums like the Science Museum of Minnesota offer interactive fun. Catch live performances at the Fitzgerald Theater or Ordway Center, then explore the Mississippi River bluffs for breathtaking views. The area serves up everything from upscale steakhouses to casual lunch spots, with most dining options catering to the business crowd. Three metro stations connect visitors to the broader Twin Cities, and the extensive skyway system makes year-round exploration a breeze regardless of Minnesota's famous weather.

Lowertown
Lowertown's artsy spirit breathes new life into St. Paul's historic warehouse district. Artists have transformed industrial spaces into vibrant galleries and studios, while the streets buzz with activity during weekend farmers markets and Saints baseball games at CHS Field. Brick facades and cobblestone streets showcase the neighborhood's 19th-century charm, creating the perfect backdrop for regular art crawls and cultural festivals. The dining scene blends farm-to-table restaurants with craft breweries housed in character-filled buildings. Boutique hotels occupy converted warehouses, offering industrial-chic accommodations for visitors. The neighborhood's compact layout makes exploration easy on foot, with the Green Line providing convenient connections to Minneapolis.

Macalester - Groveland
Macalester-Groveland blends college town charm with leafy residential streets where academic energy meets Midwestern tranquility. The Gothic Revival buildings of Macalester College create a vibrant backdrop for visitors exploring Grand Avenue's boutiques and cafes. When you need fresh air, the Mississippi River Boulevard delivers scenic paths and overlooks perfect for watching the sun set behind the bluffs. Local dining ranges from student-friendly cafes to upscale bistros serving Nordic-inspired cuisine. Accommodation options include charming bed and breakfasts tucked into historic homes and boutique inns with personalized service. Getting around is easy with frequent bus routes and tree-lined sidewalks made for leisurely strolls through this peaceful St. Paul neighborhood.

Summit Hill
Summit Hill showcases America's most impressive Victorian mansions along the historic Summit Avenue boulevard. Grand homes tell stories of St. Paul's gilded age, with architectural gems like James J. Hill House and F. Scott Fitzgerald's birthplace. The majestic Cathedral of Saint Paul dominates the skyline while tree-canopied streets create perfect pathways for architectural enthusiasts and history buffs. Grand Avenue offers upscale bistros, cozy cafes, and boutique shops just steps from the quiet residential streets. Visitors typically stay in charming bed & breakfasts housed in converted Victorian homes, enjoying personalized service amid period furnishings. Most attractions are within walking distance, though having a car helps explore beyond the neighborhood's peaceful boundaries.

"This property was a very pleasant surprise!! We stayed there during the State Fair and will absolutely rebook for our next trip to the area!! There is NO breakfast included but they do have a nice coffee bar in the lobby where you can purchase coffee! The facility is CLEAN and I felt safe there! There is also a restaurant which is attached to the property that we did eat at one evening- so we didn’t have to go driving around!!"
Drury Plaza Hotel St. Paul Downtown
"Well worth the money. Happy hour buffet each night and the breakfast buffet with real food made fresh. Clean rooms, fast elevators and easy access to the property. Only problem was the pool was closed for one day due to unforeseen emergency repairs. We will stay here again."
