The sugary white Sandy beaches were clean and not overly crowded. It was very family friendly and pet friendly. It had a lot of shopping and fun activities. You absolutely need to check out the Surfs Up dolphin cruise. It was phenomenal!!

It was unusually cold when we were there...so hard to get a feel for the beach bars etc, but look like fun places. Found plenty of things to do within a short distance and much less traffic than Destin area. More shells on the beach here.

Orange Beach is quiet and family friendly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. The sand is soft, white and beautiful. The water is typically clear but doesn't seems as blue/green as Florida beaches.

"Well maintained with outstanding front desk staff -especially Helen. All rooms have an ocean view. 1 minute walk to the beach. Great surf - clean beach. Sparkling pool. Nice restaurant but don’t order the carne nachos - I don’t know what they were thinking. "
"The staff were friendly and they all seemed to enjoy working there. The made to order omelette was delicious every morning. Hotel is right on the beach and a short drive from several great seafood restaurants."
