Learn more about Watsonville
Surrounded by strawberry fields that perfume the air, this agricultural hub invites you to watch berry harvesting up close. The farmers' market showcases the bounty of local farms with produce picked just hours earlier. Sunset State Beach offers a quieter coastal experience than its famous neighbor. Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds hosts events throughout the year, from rodeos to strawberry festivals. Bird enthusiasts flock to wetland areas where migratory species create spectacular seasonal displays. For adventure, head to nearby Santa Cruz for classic boardwalk amusements or catch perfect waves at Manresa State Beach. Mount Madonna Center provides peaceful hiking trails through redwood forests, while Gizdich Ranch lets you pick your own berries and apples when in season.

Hotel Pacific
"This was a lovely place to stay - as we are local, having our floors redone. The luxury junior suite - had very roomy space, a fireplace, little balcoy and little table/ktichen area. We were extremely pleased with the space, location in MRY and price. We'll go there again when needed and highly recommend it to visitors."
Sand Castle Inn
"Sand Castle Inn was excellent. Clean and cozy rooms, affordably priced. They have EV chargers and laundry but i didnt use them this time. Would book again."
Chaminade Resort & Spa
"The room was wonderful! Spacious and clean. The restaurant had great food. Friendly staff. Very relaxing stay. I love how dog friendly it is too. It’s tucked away where you feel far away but it’s actually pretty close to down town Santa Cruz and the boardwalk. We will definitely stay again!"
Monarch Resort
"Need to upgrade rooms and improve breakfast selections."
Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa
"Quick and easy check in process. Property feels like a apartment complex"
Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
"Beautiful property! Yummy Happy Hour! Beautiful view from our room!"
Bay Breeze Inn
"Cleaning staff were helpful, cheerful and kind, as was one of the front desk personnel. Bed was sprung and a bit odd- slept "hot" and top of body cold in AC and mattress body side hot"
The Monterey Hotel
"This is an old classic hotel and as such has its charm and a fantastic location. However, it could need some freshening up. The floor carpets are unpleasant looking and there is no AC. Monterey weather allows for keeping windows open, the local seagulls do not. I did appreciate them allowing dogs though."
Monterey Beach Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"Great food"
