Learn more about Los Osos
Kayak through Morro Bay's tranquil waters where sea otters float on their backs, cracking shells on their furry bellies. The Elfin Forest Preserve offers boardwalk trails through ancient pygmy oaks that seem plucked from a fantasy novel. Montaña de Oro State Park delivers dramatic coastal bluffs where wildflowers paint the landscape in spring. Los Osos Oaks State Reserve protects 800-year-old oak trees with branches that twist like frozen dancers. Birdwatchers flock to Sweet Springs Nature Preserve where herons stalk the shallows with prehistoric patience. Despite the town's name meaning 'The Bears' in Spanish, no actual bears have roamed here for over a century – perhaps the greatest disappointment for wildlife photographers.

Best Western Casa Grande Inn
"Staff"
Spyglass Inn
"It was so nice, staff super helpful and the view was amazing. I have one recommendation - for people with disabilities you should offer certain things that will make those people welcome- like an extension seat for the toilet, bars to hold on in the shower."
Harbor House Inn Morro Bay
"The room was pretty nice and pretty big and pretty open"
Oxford Suites Pismo Beach
"The staff was super friendly, every one was helpful."
Morro Shores Inn And Suites
"We had an amazing time, clean spacious rooms, beach at the end of the street."
Inn at the Cove
"Excellent place! Strongly recommend"
Pacific Point Resort
"They are currently in the middle of renovating, so our room was at the sister property next door. The room was nice, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was helpful. The pool at that location was nice but small, and the jacuzzi was out of order. We woke up to a ton of food trash outside our room door that the receptionist said was due to the birds. A more secure trash situation from the property would be appreciated."
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Luis Obispo
"Loved it!"
Apple Farm
"I loved the landscape, the cottage cozy feel! Great place, very nostalgic to SLO!"
