"Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage."

Came from Chicago for an early Christmas celebration with kids & grandkids… it was perfect. Would like to come back late spring with two well trained dogs that could hang out on large front porch. Possible?"

"I have stayed here 3 times now so obviously I like the place. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice and clean. Breakfast has a lot of options. There are some things that could be taken care of to get it 5 stars from me, but all around it's decent place."

"Very nice place right on the water. Cute little downtown. Would stay there again. Had dinner at Hanson Hill in Whitehall to celebrate my wife's birthday and the restaurant was very pleasant with scenic views of the lake. The Weathervane Inn was top notch."

"We used this hotel for an overnight because it is close to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. NO BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED. However, there are lots of amenities near by. The area is beautiful with a trail around the lake. The hotel has friendly personal, clean rooms, updated linens, but is dated. Overall I would definitely stay here again."

"We got a king suite with a jacuzzi tub in the old motel building and we were surprised at how clean and modern it was. Had a slider out to the courtyard. This place was so cute! Definitely recommend!"

Told me about all the things I could enjoy in the area. Upon entering my room, everything was clean and exactly as described. The breakfast was delicious, there were plenty of options.
