Learn more about Marblehead
Perched at the tip of a peninsula where Lake Erie meets Sandusky Bay, this lakeside village beckons with maritime charm and natural beauty. The Marblehead Lighthouse, the oldest continuously-operating beacon on the American Great Lakes, offers panoramic water views from its historic tower. The adjacent Keeper's House provides a glimpse into 19th-century lighthouse living. Nature enthusiasts can discover the rare Lakeside Daisy at its dedicated preserve—the only natural U.S. population of this endangered flower. East Harbor State Park offers beaches and trails, while ferries connect to nearby Lake Erie islands. The Victorian-era Lakeside Chautauqua community provides cultural programs and peaceful lakefront moments away from Cedar Point's crowds.

South Shore Inn
"My grand kids loved the pool and hot tub. It closed late too. The breakfast could have been a little better, but it wasn’t bad. Staff was friendly. Property was clean. Room was nice."
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Sandusky near Cedar Point
"As a last minute booking for a great price, this hotel wasn't bad at all! Staff were friendly, check-in/out were simple, the hours for the amenities were awesome(swimming until 11 on a humid summer night? Sign me up!) and the continental breakfast was amazing, too. The only downside was that the mattresses were definitely worn out. I slept well, but my son did not. Despite that, we both agreed we'd stay again."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sandusky by IHG
"Great stay. Will stay again."
Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky OH
"I didn’t expect to pay for parking since the room rate was already high. The bathroom was really small. The sink was in the main room. The front desk man recommended going to the pancake restaurant down the street because the breakfast on site was expensive. The Dunkin on site was good."

Comfort Inn Sandusky
"Nice room. Pool and hot tub was nice."
Avalon Inn
"Look, this isn't the Hilton or whatever but in all honesty this hotel for the price is not bad. The bed is comfortable, the AC is cold, the shower a little complicated but it's a place to get clean and sleep for cedar point. Kinda noisy in the morning though but all good. Staff was very polite! No bugs (we checked), parking right near the door we went in so not far to walk thankfully, and my kids froze me with the AC lol. Only thing is I wish they had something for breakfast - even just fruit available. I will definitely be staying again."
