Learn more about Santa Ynez
Amid rolling hills and oak-studded landscapes, world-class wineries beckon with intimate tasting rooms where vintners share personal stories alongside their creations. Horse ranches dot the countryside, offering trail rides through Western film-worthy scenery. The Santa Ynez Airport welcomes private planes to this uncrowded valley. Nearby Solvang charms with Danish-inspired architecture and authentic pastries. After wine tasting at Sunstone or Gainey Vineyard, the Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum reveals the region's ranching heritage. Lake Cachuma offers outdoor recreation when vineyard fatigue sets in. The Chumash Casino provides evening entertainment, though the real jackpot is the valley's unspoiled beauty.

Wine Valley Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, nice breakfast. Clean room."
The Upham Hotel
8/10 Good
"The grassy courtyard with chairs and a gazebo to enjoy were great! Peaceful and relaxing. The room was nice but dated. The furniture was old. One of the chairs had a hole on the fabric of the arm. Things looked worn. We had a nice patio that we enjoyed daily. Definately a 3 star hotel but with a 4 -5 star price."
Pea Soup Andersen's Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and convenient. I loved the size of the room and the nice terrace. Was perfect to have morning coffee and finish my work at the peaceful morning. Good internet helps me to get my work done and enjoy the weekend with my family."
Chumash Casino Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was amazing!! And the room was super clean!"
Royal Copenhagen Inn
10/10 Excellent
"In the heart of downtown Solvang. Perfect location. Great friendly staff. Loved that breakfast was delivered to your room at no extra cost. Will definitely come back again."
Vinland Hotel and Lounge
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was on the third floor and the elevator happened to be out of service in the building we were in. Unfortunately, I have a wheelchair and that did impose a little. I’m able to walk but get tired easily. Stairs were the only option. Anyhow, a staff member was made aware of this situation and kindly gave us a room in their other building with a working elevator. Her name was Ebony I believe. She was super friendly, comforting, and understanding. Both rooms were very clean. We would totally recommend this place!"
Lemon Tree Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It felt like we went on a plane when we actually drove 2.5 hours for a getaway. Thank you"
Vagabond Inn Santa Barbara
8/10 Good
"Front desk staff was great. The “clean” towels in the room all seemed damp. Other than 2 bars of soap, there was no tiny bottles of shampoo or lotion"
The Leta Santa Barbara Goleta, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Super pet friendly, appreciated this very much! Wonderful staff. Location close to Trader Joe’s and nice shopping. Good walking neighborhood."
