Capitol Reef Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Be prepared for only a handful of businesses to eat nearby. If you come during a black sky time, SPECTACULAR!! Great view from the room, although I wish they turned off the parking and flood lights at night in order to not light-pollute the experience. I bet it would have been amazing the view from the balcony. Good thing that a quick 5 min drive takes you to absolute darkness where you can almost touch the Milky Way!!"

Ofland Escalante
10/10 Excellent
"We had the most wonderful stay at Ofland Escalante. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and everything was perfect. The bed and the sofa bed and pillows were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we need. The private outdoor shower was amazing. We absolutely loved the nightly drive-in movies and s'mores by the fire. It was so great to cool off in the pool during the day, and really fun that we could hear cows mooing in the distance from the pool! It's close to so many great hiking spots and we loved venturing into downtown Escalante and exploring the few shops and places to eat. The stargazing at night was very special - we even spotted Venus. Highly recommend staying here!"
