"Our stay was amazing for the weekend. There was a small issue with my booking but hotels.com and the manger fixed it no issues. The heated pool was so nice for me and the kids to swim in. The breakfast selection was pretty good but I only got coffee myself. It all smelled amazing. The property was super clean they do a thorough job on the rooms. The surrounding area was nice and quiet too. Beds were super comfortable but pillows were super small. Over all a nice place for families to stop. And everything was close by too."

"The property was clean and the concept of it being a "studio" type room is great. The room had an apt size refrigerator and 2 burner cook top. Perfect for extended stays. However, there were no cups, glasses, plates, utensils, or cookware to complement the aminety of having the ability to cook. You would guess that with a kitchenette, there would be a larger trash can for that area; there was only one small trash can in the bathroom. The bathroom was supplied with towels & bath cloth for 2 showers. There was no bath mat to step onto when exiting the shower so one of the only two towels was used as a bath mat. If the property is designed for extended stay, it should stock the rooms accordingly without guests having to venture to the front desk for items such as irons and hairdryers. I get the minimalist vision but it is lacking for an extended stay property. Front desk is not staffed after 10 PM which is fine if guests don't require anything. A number is provided to contact the on call manager during the time the front desk isn't staffed for emergencies. I attribute the lack of many items due to the property being open for only 4 months. Those are my observations on what would make this an excellent property in which to stay. Oh and the staff were top notch."

"There are rare times when you schedule a stop on a trip, that you find the most incredible place to stay. Magnolia Manor & Chapel, owned and operated by Lee and Lyne Sands, is one of those magnificent places. Lee and Lyne bought this old church and turned it into, not just overnight lodging, but a real event venue. The rooms where you stay are so charming & are each decorated individually. Our room included absolutely everything we would need for a stay. We felt very spoiled. When we walked down the stairs to the dining room, it blew our minds. It was decorated so delightfully. We smelled something good cooking. Oh my gosh, our drinks arrived along with a plate of french toast sticks. When I found out they were gluten-free I was in seventh heaven. Next came the enticing mixed fruit. We then enjoyed scrambled eggs (egg whites!) bacon, and the most delicious hash brown casserole I’ve ever had. Now that, is A BREAKFAST. They also serve lunch and offer brunch on Saturday & Sunday They also have a building in the back with a beautiful patio to listen to different bands while you have drinks and light food. Right now I believe it operates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also have the most splendidly redone chapel. Wonderful place to have a small wedding or celebration. All in all, we will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through that area. It’s not far off the highway between Memphis and Nashville."
